NextLight is unequivocally the best internet provider I\u2019ve ever heard of<\/strong> (in the United States at least).<\/p>\n

Everything from their policies on net neutrality to their local first mentality sets them apart among ISPs nationwide. With a strong, straight-to-consumer fiber backbone, their service is also exemplary, with consistently high speed and low ping.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, NextLight played a major role in my decision to move to Longmont at all, and it\u2019s emblematic of what I like about this town: people first.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Nextlight is the City of Longmont\u2019s community owned fiber internet service. I have been a customer for quite a few years and have never had a problem starting with the installation, to the speed, to the customer service, to the cost for service!!<\/strong> I used to have another internet provider and this one is half the cost with super fast speeds. The customer service is the icing on the cake, anytime I have had to talk to somebody they are super friendly and always resolve my problem\/help me out. I would strongly endorse Nextlight!!<\/p>\n<\/div>

We were one of the first families in Longmont to jump at the chance at hooking into this high-speed Internet service when it came out. I have been impressed with the customer service,<\/strong> and obviously the speed, and even when things have changed or been a little bit confusing with the bill pay or web interface, I have had impeccable help navigating!<\/p>\n

I've been a customer of various internet services starting with dial-up to cable to dedicated ISP (like ATT) and now NextLight Fiber. I can safely say that NextLight has been the best!<\/strong><\/p>\n

My usage includes streaming (YouTube TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+) multi-computer (Windows\/Linux desktops, laptops, tablets and phones) and smart home assistants.<\/p>\n

My satisfaction depends on uptime, consistent performance, and explicit testing using bandwidth and throughput tools. NextLight has consistently delivered great numbers.<\/p>\n

In the past with cable providers (Xfinity, Charter), having to reboot my cable modem was a 'monthly' task but with Nextlight, I honestly can't remember the time I had to reboot ANYTHING other than my streaming sticks.<\/p>\n

When I compare the price\/performance of Nextlight, even my grown kids in other cities are envious of our provider!<\/p>\n<\/div>

We are lucky to have this fiber-optic, fast and reliable service offered to us by the City instead of having to be stuck with a corporation that does not have our best interests at heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>

I've had Nextlight, Comcast and Verizon home internet, by far Nextlight is the best choice.<\/strong> I haven't had to worry about my service dropping or any outages sense I switched. I've been with Nextlight for 2+ years and never had issues. When the techs came to set everything up they were on time, in and out fast, and made sure things were working before they left. Their online account system is extremely easy to use. Sense I've had Nextlight I've only had to call customer service one time and it ended up not even being a Nextlight issue but my error for hooking up equipment wrong when I changed out our router. But they were super nice and helped me, walking me through how to hook things up and making sure everything was working when it got hooked up again.<\/p>\n<\/div>

NextLight works great for me. I have a YouTube channel so fast speeds and stability are important. I'm able to upload 4k video very fast<\/strong> and hold livestreams on YouTube as well. Plus, NextLight is so much cheaper than cable internet...and I don't have to deal with the horrible cable companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>
