The FCC is no longer accepting new enrollments starting February 8, 2024. Once the program funds have been fully exhausted (expected April 2024), the program will shut down and participating customers will no longer receive the discount. For more information, visit the FCC ACP website.

Affordable Connectivity Program

The FCC announced there will be no new enrollments after February 8, 2024. Any current ACP members will have the discount applied until April 2024.

Customers are limited to one monthly service discount (ACP discount) per eligible household. The discount cannot be shared across multiple service providers.

Any additional products and services will be the responsibility of the customer.

Where does the funding come from?

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a new long-term program created by Congress to provide income-qualified Longmont residents the chance to move at the speed of NextLight! Nationally, the new ACP will maintain the existing discounts of up to $30/month for eligible customers. NextLight will subsidize another $10/month for these customers. This will allow residents access to 100 megabit internet for free or 1 gigabit for $19.95/month.

Your ACP discount can only be used for one provider per household.

You can request to transfer your current ACP discount to NextLight if you choose. This may increase your bill with your other provider.
